Spacious 2–3 person dome tent with mattress and clean bedding, ideal for classic camping near Pune with basic comforts in nature.
Perfect for stargazing, campfire time, and a peaceful night away from city noise at Nisargshala’s riverside campsite.
Dos – enjoy nature responsibly
Use the campsite as a quiet, peaceful nature space; keep volume low and avoid loud music so everyone can hear the river, wind, and birds.
Follow guidance of Nisargshala team for tent allocation, treks, river visits, and campfire timing; children should always stay under parent or guardian supervision.
Use dustbins placed around the campsite and keep your tent area clean; carry back all non-biodegradable waste and leave the place cleaner than you found it (Leave No Trace).**
Bring and use reusable water bottles, mugs, and plates whenever possible to reduce single-use plastic at the campsite.
Use water, electricity, and firewood mindfully—close taps properly, switch off lights when not needed, and join the common campfire instead of asking for separate fires.
Respect plants, rocks, trees, and insects; observe wildlife from a distance without throwing food or stones.
Don’ts – for safety and sustainability
Do not play loud speakers, party music, or shout in the camping area, especially after dark; quiet hours are maintained for stargazing and rest.
Alcohol abuse, drugs, and any form of abusive language or misbehaviour are not allowed and may lead to immediate check-out from the campsite.
Do not litter, throw cigarette butts, or burn plastic, foil, or glass in the campfire; all such waste must go into the designated collection points.
Do not pluck flowers, cut branches, write on rocks, or damage any natural feature; good campsites are found, not made.
Do not light personal campfires or use open flames near tents or in the forest; only use the common campfire area under staff supervision.
Do not wash utensils, clothes, or yourself directly in natural water sources; use designated wash areas and eco-friendly soap in small quantities.
Sustainable camping pledge
