The place is beautiful, and our daughter enjoyed every bit of the camp. Watching fireflies at night and sitting under the stars was a magical experience. The activities were fun and engaging, and the food was really good too. Hemant and his team are doing a great job of making the camp enjoyable and memorable for both kids and parents. The only thing we missed was stargazing because of the cloudy weather. But what really stood out was the surprise birthday cake arranged by Hemant and his team. Since a cake wasn't available nearby, Hemant went all the way to get one from about 12 km away. It may seem like a small gesture, but it meant a lot to us and showed how much they care about their guests. Just a note for anyone planning to visit: this place is for people who want to experience nature in its raw and beautiful form. If you're looking for luxury accommodations, this may not be the right fit. But if you love nature and simple, meaningful experiences, you'll have a great time here.

Visited Nisargshala Stargazing Camp with my wife and our 8-year-old daughter, and honestly it turned out to be one of the most memorable experiences for us as a family. If someone is expecting a luxury resort, this is not the place — but if you genuinely want your children to experience nature, camping, stars, forests, fireflies, bonfire, and simple outdoor living, Nisargshala is magical. My daughter absolutely loved the entire experience. From the nature trail to stargazing, fireflies, open sky sleeping, and simply running around freely in nature — she enjoyed every moment so much that she literally did not want to go back home the next day. What we personally appreciated most was that the sessions were explained in very simple language which even children could understand and relate to. It never felt like a boring lecture. The entire atmosphere felt very raw, natural, and authentic. Yes, this is a real campsite experience with tents, insects, sounds of nature, dark skies, and outdoor living — and that is exactly what makes it special. The staff and volunteers were warm, helpful, and genuinely passionate about what they do. Food was tasty, the BBQ under the stars was a beautiful experience, and lying under the night sky with our child is something we will remember for a long time. Highly recommended for families who want children to experience nature beyond screens and resorts.

Evolve Back operates year-round. Each season feels different — winter is clear skies, spring blooms with birds, monsoon transforms the landscape, autumn brings relief from heat. We recommend checking the calendar for specific dates and weather conditions.

What's the duration?

Evolve Back typically runs as a 1-night / 2-days experience (Saturday Morning through Sunday afternoon). This is enough to genuinely reset but short enough to fit busy family schedules. Custom multi-night stays can be discussed.

What's covered in the cost?

Included: Accommodation (Tent Stay), all meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner), guides for optional nature walks or evening astronomy, use of all facilities (fire pit, hammocks, common areas).

Not included: Alcoholic beverages (not allowed), specialized adventure equipment rental, personal activities outside the property, Transport.

What should we pack?

Comfortable clothes for weather, walking shoes, a light sweater for mountain evenings, any personal medications, toiletries, and an open mind. We provide bedding, basic amenities, and the tools for connection. You provide the willingness to show up.

Can we bring new borns or elderly parents?

Yes. Evolve Back is designed for multi-generational families. Newborns can rest safely. Elderly family members have comfortable spaces and zero pressure to do activities. We have experienced caregivers and guides who are sensitive to different mobility levels.

What happens in heavy rain?

The Sahyadri monsoons are powerful but predictable. We monitor weather carefully. The camp is fully weather-safe. Rainy days often become the most memorable — families drawn inside, sharing stories, playing games, deepening connection in unexpected ways.

Do you have Wi-Fi or mobile coverage?

The property sits in a zone with limited connectivity. This is intentional. Parents often say this is the best part — finally being unreachable. For genuine emergencies, we have communication channels. You won't feel cut off; you'll feel reconnected to each other.

How far is medical help?

Velhe has a primary health center 15 minutes away. Velhe (larger medical facilities) is 30 minutes away. Our guides include trained first-aid responders. Emergency evacuation is possible via our network. We take safety seriously while honoring the reality of being in nature.
