Our campgrounds are carefully chosen to offer the best possible night sky views, free from the light pollution that plagues most city and suburban areas. Whether you're a beginner who's eager to learn more about astronomy or a seasoned astrophotographer looking for the perfect shot, NASA offers the environment you need to fuel your passion. The yearly membership allows you access to the campgrounds for 24 nights a year, giving you ample time to plan your trips around significant astronomical events like meteor showers, lunar eclipses, or clear, moonless nights for perfect astrophotography sessions.

DO'S
- Respect Camp Guidelines: Follow the rules provided by Nisargshala staff for a safe, enjoyable experience.
- Bring Your Own Equipment: Always bring your telescope or DSLR camera, along with necessary accessories like lenses, tripods, and extra batteries.
- Leave No Trace: Clean up your campsite, take all waste with you, and help preserve Nisargshala's natural beauty.
- Be Quiet: Maintain a peaceful atmosphere to enjoy the sounds of nature and allow fellow members to focus on stargazing.
- Check Astronomical Conditions: Plan visits around weather and moon phases to maximize your stargazing or astrophotography session.
DON'TS
- No Open Fires: To protect the environment, open fires are strictly prohibited.
- Avoid Bright Lights: Use red light or dim lighting to avoid disrupting your night vision and that of others.
- No Loud Music: This is a peaceful space dedicated to enjoying nature and the stars, so please keep noise to a minimum.

2024-01-19One of the best and pure nature experience that you can buy for money. Come here once and you will yearn to go back and experience the calming silence, the fresh air and most importantly a starry sky that you will remember forever.
Pasli village, in which this camp site is has some of the darkest night sky in Maharashtra, considering the approachability of this place. Due to which you can see an unbelievable amount of stars. The camp site itself is close to a small river and nestled amidst rolling hills.
To sum up this place is just pure magic for those look out for an undisturbed stay in nature. What makes it even better is that the camp is highly family friendly and safe to enjoy with kids and elderly alike.

2023-12-18Amazing place to have one night camping with stars. This is not a regular camping just for name sake where loud music and bright lightings destroy all the fun for nature lovers. Nisargshala gives you true camping experience with good quality tents, amazing food and superb stargazing activities.

2023-12-16Had amazing experience at Nisargshala, visited for Meteorite shower on 13 Dec. Very clear sky, no light pollution at all. Team guided us with informative session on Astronomy too. Food was delicious, barbecue, dinner & breakfast was served. Must visit place.

2023-10-06A wonderful place to connect with nature, especially for kids. Sahyadri ranges are full of natural wealth but Hemant sir can make you really look at it and wonder about not just the plants, but grass and insects too. The explorer in him is ignited and we will surely be visiting Nisargshala again.
