From Pune: approximately 1.5 hours by car or bike.
From Mumbai: approximately 3.5 hours via the Mumbai–Pune Expressway and NH48.
Parking is available at the campsite.

When can I watch the Geminid meteor shower near Pune?
Nisargshala is hosting overnight experiences on December 12–13, 13–14 and 14–15, 2026. The peak observation period is around December 14–15.
Can I see the Geminids without a telescope?
Yes. Meteors can be observed with the naked eye. The guided astronomy experience adds context and helps participants explore more of the night sky.
Is camping included?
Yes. The overnight experience includes tent accommodation, astronomy sessions, guided sky observation, meals and breakfast as specified for the event.
How far is Nisargshala from Pune?
Nisargshala is approximately 1.5 hours from Pune by car or bike, depending on traffic and route.
