Prepare for Agnishikha Camp

Welcome to your journey of self-discovery and empowerment! Before you set off, please review the following guidance to ensure a smooth, safe, and memorable experience at our Sahyadri campsite. Once you arrive, our team will verify your registration and show you to your tent. Clear signboards and friendly facilitators will guide you through arrival procedures—and keep this page handy for key tips on travel, equipment, and camp etiquette. Let’s get ready to light the fire within!

Personal things

✓ Main Sack / backpack – Pls avoid suitcase and trolley bags
✓ Small sack or Shabnam to carry pen, notebook & water bottle during camp
✓ Water bottle – 2 bottles 1 ltr each
✓ Sun Cap
✓ Kantopi – balaclava / Makadtopi
✓ Trekking shoes, crocs/chappals
✓ Flip-flops for shower use
✓ Water shoes (for stream/water activities)
✓ Socks – 8-10 pairs (include hiking socks)
✓ Woollen gloves, Sweater/sweat shirt
✓ Full sleeves T-shirt : 4-5 (comfortable cotton)
✓ Full track pant – 2 pairs
✓ Short / Leggings – 3-4 pairs (fingertip length or longer)
✓ Under garments – 7-8 pairs (cotton recommended)
✓ Comfortable pajamas – 2 sets
✓ Towel – 2 bath towels + 2 hand towels
✓ Brush + tooth paste
✓ Small Soap, hair oil, suns cream (SPF 30+)
✓ Shampoo and conditioner (travel-size)
✓ Body wash/deodorant
✓ Odomas/insect repellent
✓ Plate n small bowl
✓ Cup / Mug for milk, sarbat
✓ Feminine hygiene products (pads/tampons)
✓ Hair ties and hairbrush/comb
✓ Hand sanitizer

✓ Basic first aid (band-aids, antiseptic cream)

Valuables should not be given to kids, parents must keep the valuables with themselves

Important Notes:

  • Valuables should not be given to kids, parents must keep the valuables with themselves
  • Mobile phones will be stored securely by facilitators during camp activities
  • All items should be labeled with participant’s name using permanent markers
  • Break in new shoes at least a week before camp
  • Emergency contact available through camp management only

What NOT to bring:

  • Electronic devices (tablets, laptops, gaming devices)
  • Expensive jewelry or valuables
  • Sharp objects or dangerous items
  • Inappropriate clothing (revealing or offensive graphics)
  • Excessive cash
