Level:Β Entry-level (New Scout/Guide aspirants)

Focus:Β Scout/Guide Promise, Law, Motto, salute, handshake, basic outdoor knowledge, group dynamics, and daily good turn practices. Ideal for completing Pravesh requirements.

Pratham Charan Camp

Duration: 2-3 Days

Level: First advancement stage

Focus: Campcraft (tent pitching, fire-building), rope work & knot-tying, map reading & navigation, first aid basics, team coordination, and badge-specific skill training.

Celestial Navigation & Astronomy Badge

Duration: 2-3 Days

Level: All advancement stages

Focus: Using 12-inch Dobsonian telescope, star identification, moon observation, celestial navigation, meteor shower tracking, and astronomy badge completion.

Adventure Skills Camp

Duration: 2-3 Days

Level: Tritiya Sopan and advanced scouts/guides

Focus: Rock climbing, rappelling, orienteering, fort trekking, wilderness survival, risk assessment, and adventure badge requirements.

Environmental Citizenship Camp

Duration: 2-3 Days

Level: All stages

Focus: Tree planting, habitat conservation, ecology study, biodiversity observation, sustainable living practices, and environmental awareness badge.

Leadership & Rajya Puraskar Preparation

Duration: 3 Days / 2 Nights

Level: Tritiya Sopan scouts/guides (12+ months experience)

Focus: Leadership training, decision-making, personal development, meditation, group management, and Rajya Puraskar state award preparation.

Sample 3‑day itinerary

Morning:

Camp orientation, safety briefing, curriculum objectives overview

Assessment:

Understanding of Scout/Guide Law, Promise, and advancement level expectations

Skill Introduction:

Knot-tying, rope work, basic campcraft introduction

Evening (First Night – Priority):

Stargazing session with telescope (weather permitting) or nature observation walk

Reflection:

Campfire, Scout/Guide songs, motto reflection, evening meditation

Morning Wellness & Assembly (6:30 AM onwards)

Begin the day with an early departure for a guided trek featuring leader rotation, where participants practice teamwork, responsibility, decision-making, hydration management, trail awareness, and trekking discipline.

Curriculum-Based Learning Sessions

Engage in 4–5 hours of specialized training based on the camp theme, including campfire skills, astronomy, adventure activities, environmental studies, navigation, and outdoor survival techniques.

Lunch, Leadership & Skill Workshops

Enjoy lunch with patrol-based meal service that promotes leadership and teamwork, followed by 2–3 hours of badge-specific workshops such as first aid, photography, cooking, and survival skills.

Team Challenges & Creative Activities

Participate in problem-solving exercises, patrol competitions, group challenges, and creative sessions such as meditation, mandala art, and journaling.

Campfire & Evening Reflection

Conclude the day with dinner, storytelling, cultural performances, campfire activities, and a reflection circle to share experiences and learnings.

Reflection & Breakfast

Begin the day with a guided reflection session where participants review their learning journey, achievements, and personal growth, followed by breakfast.

Skill Assessment & Evaluation

Demonstrate practical competencies learned during the camp through hands-on assessments and receive mentor feedback on badge advancement requirements.

Lunch & Preparation for Closing

Enjoy a final lunch with fellow participants while preparing for the closing activities and celebrations.

Certificates & Recognition
